Ok, I've cleaned this thread. If I see any more political comments in here, like must be a republican or Obama this or that, etc, then I will close the thread and issue infractions.

Should we just start an EOBR thread in the rants forum? That would be easier and everyone can cry their little eyes out.

We might as well put discussion of all the regulations in the political forum because none of them have anything to do with safety . They are bought with political contributions.

Good selections. Only have to pick one or two of them. No need to blanket the landscape with targeted shutdowns. And it doesn't have to even be a large metro area like Chicago or NYC. Just a good sized population center. Even with California, just targeting, say, Sacramento or any one of a hundred towns. Even a smaller than Chicago type of town in the midwest, say, Des Moines or the Quad Cities along the river. Nothing gets hauled in or out for just a few days. Gets the point across, causes the power that be to sit up and take notice, and with no strike like action, they could not tell how to deal with it. Then a couple of weeks later, target another town with the same action. Now you would really have them worried. It is the same type of tactical strategy that the French resistance used against Germany in WW II, and others over human history. Didn't require a centralized command center or organization. Just a little thought, a little communication among those that had this mindset, and then put it into action.

Hold up guys moderator is pounding the gavel!
Okay if we are in your opinion taking this into an area that's the off base and please post a link so we may continue the discussion, EOBR outrage would make for a nice title.
I believe that we are on to something and we really don't wanna stop the train of thought on this subject. Seems the political area would be a cool place to park this subject, because it is after all more political than anything else when ya get right down to it. Besides truckers don't like to lose in the game of political strategy ;)

Ok I posted a message for the moderator and we should get a reply soon. In the mean time what I think we should have done on the late Jimmy Hoffa's birthday which by the way was February 14th was shutdown 15 minutes or for an hour nationwide. In other words everyone that believes that the EOBR mandate is taking it way too far can participate without fear of losing one's job just walk away somewhere or park your truck for 15 minutes or for an hour to send a strong message that we YES we can come together. I will save th analogy for a the proper thread if the moderator moves the discussion.
What most of the FAT (And yes I'm talking about their BMI index too) CEO'S don't realize YET is they are a two edge sword, But JB Ain't no fool JB tried to get a law passed to protect themselves if it didn't put themselves in a favorite light in the event of an accident.
I found out while surfing the net from a lawyer who was kinda ticked off.
