1. Attention employers: We now require a valid DOT# for anyone wishing to post a driving position. If your job offer doesn't contain a DOT number, it will not get past moderation and will not appear in the forum. The other requirements in the sticky at the top of this section are still required as well. Thank you for understanding.

I am a professional driver located in Coeburn VA ( 70 miles north of Kingsport TN) looking for a good job. I have 17 years experience driving OTR and local. Two years of that were spent supervising 12 other drivers, driving Quad axle dump trucks hauling just about anything that would fit into the bed. In my years of OTR I have hauled everything from loads of toilet paper, fifty million dollars worth of pharmaceuticals, Lots of produce, top secret loads for the military and top heavy and unstable loads of swinging meat. My last job was hauling wood chips from pound VA to Kingsport TN several times a day and because of our government's en-ability to do their jobs, I was laid off the first of the year and as of march, I am still looking.. I have never had a wreck and only one speeding (60 in a 55 zone ) ticket,12 years ago in California. No log book violations, no over weight tickets or anything else. Looking for something that will get me home every weekend but I am open to longer stays away from home if I can run the Midwest or west cost. I do NOT care for running the north east at all and if this is your company's primary area of operation then don't bother contacting me!

Allow me to be upfront here. I need a company with good benefits and one who has a strong commitment to it's employees. I will not tolerate being lied to and I will check into everything I am told before I accept the job! If you tell me something then I expect that to be the way it is or other wise, I WILL leave, so if you cant be honest with me then don't wast your time contacting me! Drivers are not just a number,we are people just like you who deserve your respect so if you show them/me the respect they/I deserve then it will be returned! I often hear that there is a driver shortage. I have heard this for the entire time I have been a driver but it's not a a driver shortage, it never had been. It is a shortage of good trucking companies to work for who treat their drivers well - which is why many companies cant keep good drivers!

I am a dependable and hard working Christian, I do not drink or do drugs of any kind so if interested shoot me an Mesg. Thanks and God bless you.

My name is Eric with Maverick Transportation. We hire in your area for our longhaul flatbed division. Would be out 2-3 weeks. I know you would like to be home every week but that is the only division in that area.
If you are interested send me a message. Thank you! enoland@maverickusa.com
