Need to know

So sounds like the shippers or lift drivers at these beer shippers just dont care at times. I thought you could get away with 45,000 tops on total trailer load weight. Im aware of the axles and steers weight. Usually when you get the paperwork at the office and look at total weight, you already know without even having to leave to scale first.

 

What do you mean by min amounts? I have seen some shippers try to sneak on extra weight thinking the driver won't catch it. Example: I picked up a load of dog food once, read the bill and knew by the total it was over weight. Commented about it and was told to go scale it at truck stop and if so they would fix it. Came back and told them I could have saved that little trip.

My point is some try to get by with it to fill an order quicker or easier and for costs. Your right about the weight differences in equipment too

 

Now do these companies have to have a certain weight on the trailer or is it just miller?

 

So I wonder why they have a minimum?
