prepass does pay tolls. the sun pass in florida is different. sunpass is only good in fl while prepass is good in multiple states. ez pass and prepass are used the same up in the northeast states.

YOU have to stop at everyone that is OPEN!

And the ones that are closed, I used to leave a deposit!:biggrin_25525:

Not if he has prepass. He can bypass some open ones.

it's better to be safe than sorry. if they chase you down for not stopping then they just might put you thru a DOT inspection and hold you up for an hour or so.

I have never been able to comprehend the waste of time and the loss of productivity that weigh stations consume. Imagine a world where there were no weigh stations? How? Well, I'd just like to put up a yearly bond...maybe a $10,000 bond. I get brought into a weigh station for a random check and I'm over on my gross/axle weight limit, the bonding company coughs up the bond to the state. Like insurance, if I am never found overweight, the bond costs less...if you are habitually overweight, no bonding company will touch you. You are looking at a career change. What do ya' think...maybe only one weigh check a month for a little cash up front for a bond? Perhaps make it optional to go the bonding route?

I stand corrected to a point. First I didn't know that prepass could pay tolls and that is only with prepass plus. I just checked the website for that info. My boss would be too cheap to let us have that luxury. Besides theres not many toll roads down here in fl.

And if you're in a fatality accident you go to jail for being overloaded.
