miles are OK, not great, but OK. They want you to run a minium of 2k a week, and when I started I wondered if they only wanted me to work 3-4 days a week LOL. You will need 5 days to do it sometimes 6 (that's why I havn't been on the board for a couple of days), if the run is on the edge of legallity and something delays it,it takes a relay (me), which is what happened up in the bay area of all places, YUK. I really should'nt complain I had a bunch of good effecient shprs and recvrs this week but I still swear it's getting worst there than the IE! I have been doing from 2300-3000 a week consistantly, not getting rich, but making a decent living and having some fun doing it. So far so good.....

He was weorried he wouldnt get miles but sounds like thats not a problem

Naw it wouldn't have been me, I don't train for this company. Not that the drivers they hire need any training from what I've seen. Hope the issue gets taken care of, we need more drivers at the moment, to much freight! Why should I have all the fun..... LOL

I know is an old thread but I couldn't help to feel a little exited about hearing about Truline, I was leased to them back in the early 90's, it was an ok company not great but just fine, some of the dispatcher were a little too pushy, or I should have said Randy, but he knew every single place you were going to and will give you directions to the details with out looking at maps, Paul was the owners son running the company, and there was a younger brother (can't remember his name) and a sister, there was Grace, she worked at the office and Sandy was very helpful to me and very sweet lady, there was a family environment that I used to like about them, good memories, thank you for this thread.
Rob was the younger brother, I don't know if they still own the company, thou.Last edited: Feb 26, 2012

i HEARD that exact same story. I use to haul end dumps right behind trueline. My old boss use to buy his old petes. Pan western is located right off of I-15, just north of Craig Rd. Colorful History -
I think I'm way out in left field here, but, what was the name of the old "Zero motor freight" (out of San Antoine) that changed it's name some years back ? I was thinking it was "Pan something"...........Was till running Blue Pete's, Reefer.

bought out by panamex. zero used to be a very well respected company. used to haul swingin' beef, and cadavers to name a couple
-
Who the hell is Panamex? Another border company hauling cheap freight

All trucks have cameras. Dead head miles are paid at .25 cpm.
There a short haul company. They short drivers on miles actually driven on every trip.
Much better companies out there.
