If you can't make a living where you're at, why not just move to someplace where you can make a decent living and make it your home.
nitrogen, koolrunner, BoomTruckin and 8 others Thank this. -

Yeah I'm getting pretty tired of these guys wanting. ..... actually expecting companies to fly them back and forth. I disagreed with it when it first started. If you want work here then you will find your own way here. Don't expect your employer to coddle you. Every penny they make that they don't blow in the bar or on coke is sent or taken home. I'm not against anyone coming here for work as long as they come to be a contributing part of our economy as well.
Pinner and Prairie Boy Thank this. -
my thoughts exactly. You want to reep the rewards of the patch, then be a productive member of society, and become a permanant member of the community.
Make AB your home, not your job site. If AB isn't good enough for the family to live in, then stay where you are at.
This goes along with my thinking on immigration...... assimilatePrairie Boy Thanks this. -
If all you guys are are just going to cry and complain because people want camp jobs dont bother replying to my add.Reason why companies pay for accomondations is because there are not enough people in alberta to do the work because every one wines and cries about it. So if you dont agree with camps then dont reply ive already moved to alberta and it didnt work out for family reasons it doesnt work for everyone.

I know of many camp jobs but they only hire people from the east coast. They advertise for experienced guys but won't hire experienced guys from Alberta. How fair is that.

If you think you can post on a forum, and tell people who can and can't respond to your 'ad', good luck buddy!
Prairie Boy and Diletantte Driver Thank this. -
karhauler i know i cant stop people from responding because its people like you who arent smart enough to understand the question i asked.therefore i will get alot of whiney people crying because people want camp jobs

thanks bobby for an honest reply, its unfair but that just goes to show that living in alberta isnt always the best case
