Just remember.. Be early to everyting and don't be a know it all... You are going to see many different types of people from all walks of life... Just concentrate on you! Just like u have read on hear if u have researched prime. Make sure you have all your paperwork before you get and make sure you have nothing hiding in your past.

I didnt personally but, the phase of training I am in now is the same phase the that those people would've started in... Basicly, its just teaming while your trainer teaches you the the business of trucking and the prime way of doing things...

    superpet39 Thanks this.

You get a different agenda, the same emphasis on "early is on time, and late is a ticket home," don't be a know-it-all, and your trainer is captain of the ship. Just get through it to the other side, and then truckon! BTW... if you find yourself in an air brakes class, you took a wrong turn somewhere - get a new GPS!

    superpet39 Thanks this.

So today marks 30 days since I arrived in Springfield.. In that time; I trained for obtained my Class A CDL, and I have already been to 20 of the lower 48 states. Now my first home is about to happen in a week or so. We currenty waiting to deliver in California in the morning and the hopefully working loads back to east coast.

Today also marks my 2nd day of what I like to call semi solo(alsom known as TnT). It's different feeling driving up front by yourself. It's a big confidence builder.

    superpet39 and snowman1 Thank this.

Glad to see you doing good mdmedic and in the tnt phase. I'm in my first week of tnt, just started on Friday and already been thru 12 states. I'm lucky to have a good trainer with a nice truck. He has a 2013 Peterbilt 587 lease driver. We just left Atlanta with a load to Allentown,Pa then going to the Pittston terminal for some paperwork. Safe travels!

Thanks... I have been on my hometime since late saturday.. I am missing the road but, am enjoying every moment with the family and kids. I am sucking it all up. My first week TnT took me from Springfield to Ontario, California, Nogales, Az, and back NJ(I got off in MD for hometime) I am really enjoying the solo feel That TnT gives but, I am glad I have my trainer in the bunk just in case.. lol I think my first TnT week got me about 4000miles or so(lil more lil less)
