You actually tell them that you hauled bags of XXX? They just ask me if the trailer is clean (check) dry (check) and odor free (check) with no holes (duct tape - check)

Never offer that but only haul for a few people now and they have a history of what I haul, but if it was a load from some off my call me list I would never tell. Been hauling clean out and back with 3 places already inspected the trailer and have a clean checkout.

Medical grade paper from Kimberly Clark is one persons run, they use black lights at certain places.

Someone above must be looking out for me.I landed a 2.66 mile load out of my backyard 1800 miles and and one coming back for 2.50 1800 miles..
Perfect timing too.It gives me 2 more weeks off and they do not leave for 2 weeks..So i can rest and also not stress about the money...

Sure enough. The old carrier I used to be leased on with would send us down there off the east coast. Pull in there on a Friday morning behind a line of about 35 trucks and be lucky to leave Saturday morning. I think some of the dock plates were broke but come on... The Lucky ones unloaded on the ramp you mentioned and got out quickly although I'm sure their cabs got tossed. See a lot of these loads from TN going down there from a LS agency. They are always dirt cheap, so anyone reading this destination Dublin, GA, ha! you've been warned twice..

Rolling coal is not kidding about waiting, I was only three hours and was calling for detention which was on my confirmation when they dragged my trailer out.

It's not to say to anyone out there never book a load to there - just a half way heads up if you see one and think it works... They don't normally want to pay much to move these into Dublin and they're dirty loads with possible LONG wait times. Off topic, but back when I did those sorts of loads at that company losing many hours or half a day was just "part of the job". They only paid o/o the same detention pay as company drivers $20 an hour, so I usually didn't bother even trying to collect.. That on the customers they claimed would even pay, $20 an hour was it.. I was always certain the company took $50 or more and hour and never felt it was fair they collect any of that money off of my truck is why I never filed the paperwork and went through the hassel to get it.
