Be careful if you do a load for these guys. Never answer phone, tell you check is in the mail, well fax you an answer. Now I am going after their customer for my money. Filed on bond already. These fly by night companies are killing the industry.

Capitalism, entrepreneurism, and the free market is a great thing. They keep prices honest, encourage efficiency and better service, but it means the consumer has to be careful when dealing with new[er] businesses. Because some just can't get it going for a variety of reasons and you get what you're dealing with. You have to take chances on new startups. Sometimes it works out and evolves into a great business to deal with, sometimes if flops and leaves people hanging. It's a crap shoot. But if we never took chances on new startups where would be?

But to play devil's advocate, all you need is 2 or 3 large outfits (brokers) to keep things honest, and you don't need a bunch of bad, small operators damaging customers along the way, with no recourse. Or we could have one "national broker" controlling the freight prices nationally, for better or for worse.
