You have to remember that alot of these scale house guys are trooper wanna be's. So I think there is a power trip kind of deal and they take it out on you.
Not sure why they can't be the troopers they wanted to be. Maybe it has something to do with short body parts?????Last edited: Mar 30, 2013

#1. You were ok. The tanker in the lane next to you was red lighted. If the light in your lane was green you were ok to continue without stopping. The only time you need to stop is if your lane light is red. If you see a red light for your lane make sure to listen for instructions. Sometimes the driver next to you is getting called in and they redlight your lane to allow the driver they want to pull over infront of you.
Frankly I'm surprised the driver behind you blew his airhorn. That's real ballzy to do at the scales.
#2 again. If you have the green light there is no reason to stop. Just keep chugging along and get out of there. There may be a stop sign before you get on the scale but unless you get a redlight there is no reason to stop.
#3 if your prepass says to pull in and the sign says "all trucks stop" and there's no signs about pulling around if the ramp is full you need to pull in. It's always best to be safe and just go through. Other drivers might have just got frustrated and decided to run the scale but it's not worth the risk. Especially as a new driver.goblue, rockee, mje and 1 other person Thank this. -
