personally I dont think anyone should lease until they drive for 6 months and decide whether they are even a truck driver first

The lease program is terrible unless you have at least 6 months experience there! I was a company driver and I loved my T660, It was something wrong with it every week but it didnt have to pay for repairs! I averaged 2,700 miles a week. Just turned my truck in 2 days ago for a regional company! TransAm is a OK COMPANY!

I only staid because I gave up all I possessed to go to trucking school, and I wasn't about to let it be for nothing. I was motivated so I made transAm work for me, I went there with nothing and and came out with experience so I don't have too many complains!

    kf4omc Thanks this.

Are you quitting with 2 weeks notice or just walking? In a similar situation and want to know what could happen if I just quit and don't do the 2 week notice for the "walk away" contract. How long have you been there?

You could probably put in an app at another company right now, call them tomorrow and be set up for orientation in a week. You might be better off working the two weeks. I don't know because I've never worked there. Hopefully, one of the TA drivers that posts here will give you a better answer.
