I have an 03 t600.I need to know how to get access into the defroster vents. My son laid his cell phone charger cord on the dash & it fell into the vent.It then proceeded to get caught in something & pulled in along with the plastic grate over the defroster vent.
Whatever it is caught on is effecting the blend door controls because it won't switch from the floor to vent or defrost.
I have already removed the blower motor from outside with no luck. What's next?

Saw that happen with a penny once, another good reason not to set stuff on your dash. Had to take the dash apart to clear the obstruction, not sure where it'd be located on that model, sorry.

See if the glove box is removable, then you may be able to move the defrost tube some it will have a rivet or screw holding it to the up right do not remember, The dash center(wood grain part) may have 2 torx or phillps screws holding it removing them lets it fold down watch for plugs coming unpluged then you might be able to get to the vent that is all I can remember until I can find one to look at I hope you get it fixed will check back later

I did remove the glove box, that was no help. I will try removing the center dash panel & see if that helps.
