I went to an interview this weeken and took my driving test. After i passed the test they said that would be my truck. I told them the truck was filthy and they said they would clean it. If i go back and the truck is still filthy im walking becouse if they cant keep that promise they probably dont keep other promises. I really need some outside thinking on this..... any thoughts?![]()
I went to interview and truck was filthy. concerned.

It's hard to judge a company on the cleanliness of other drivers. If you go back and the truck is not clean I would tell them you'd rather not drive in someone else's mess. If they don't immediately clean it to your approval then I would say thanks, but no thanks.
I am lucky in that I work for a small owner leased to FDXG and of the drivers we have only one guys truck is messy. And that's just because he doesn't like to wipe down the dash and windows. It's not one of those sick, sticky steering wheel messes. But I have refused to drive trucks in the past because of the filth of other drivers. I'm a bit of a germ-a-phobe. -
It has been my experience when assigned to a different truck their idea of cleaning a truck are way different than mine. So I would let them do "their" cleaning then I would move in and really clean it. They are not gunna get in all the nooks and crannies. But I'm pretty anal when it comes to cleaning and keeping my truck clean.

i did a bunch of repo's for transam
until my truck came in
some needed to be shoveled out before i drove
best was the guy that took a dump on the mattressLogan76 Thanks this. -
Thats exactly my problem with the truck. I cant do smelly, dirty, germy. Old fashioned mud and dirt is no problem. I would vacuum it up and be on my way. I think this company is a good move but i have those doubts just because ive been burned in the past. I have those "making a move" jitters.
