I haven't seen a Walmart yet that moves as fast as anyone would like... How ever there was twice that two different DCs fit us in when our DM didn't set us up any appointments, so I can't complain too much... Not on that fleet anymore so don't have to worry about it either We would always scheduled/figured 4 hrs to unload in our trip plans though... If we got done before that, it was bonus/shower time

Looks like I'm spending the night in WVC tonight. Had two deliveries, both about 4miles from the terminal (and about 4 miles from each other...) and yet one delivery was noon Sunday and the second 0600 Monday. Couldn't get a drop cuz it's a meat load.

 

I hope the one after that is a nice LONG one!! We would do our DM favors and 'save' loads occasionally, but we always tried to get a 'good' one or two after that.

 

Ha. 720 miles from Salt Lake to Oakland with my first trip through Donner. I'm going on HT Friday so I couldn't get much of a long run at this point.

 

Donner's not bad. I went down donner my first day of otr training.

 

Made it with 9 hrs to spare. Wow, 600+ miles a day for two days is enough for me, lol. It's very possible but I felt like a crackhead the whole time. Skirting around cities during peak hours and thinking every car in front of me was out to slow me down! Happy Easter y'all. I didn't make it home tonight like I wanted but I think I'll get over it come Thursday!

well looks like 2 more weeks with central then I am done I managed to get a job with a garbage company in Pleasanton ca. I will keep watching thread and if I have any input I will give any but obviously my advice wasn't always good cause I ran it my way but I did make it 3 years and only left cause a local job that pays good is hard to find. I will keep watching thread and happy easter
