Is this what you're doing now? If so good for you, hope you enjoy it.

Basically I'm floating between the tri-axle and the tractor trailer tanker for the time being. I left the company briefly due to the slowdown with water, but had some issues with the new employer, and was taken back by the old one. I'm happy to be back, and don't mind the floating as they've said that when things get better, I'll be back on the water.

I really miss hauling coal, really miss the money I made. Did you leave that light or put more on?

I went up and got more. I told the loader operator (who has a bucket scale) that I wanted 23 tons, and he put on 21. Either he didn't listen, or the scale was off.

Can't tell you how many times it happened to me. There were guys who were all over the place. One load would be 70k, the next 85k. One loader man was real good though. He didn't have a bucket scale but he could usually get you right where you wanted to be. Always seemed like when I got loaded light, the loader was way in the back not close to the scale.

Yeah last year. It got slow around this time last year, and i had a bit of a falling out with my boss. Decided to part ways. I ended up finding a job through a friend of mine back in NY, thats were I have been since. Can't complain to much though. Got a 379 Pete and getting paid by the hour.
