    Six month (!!) update: Still waiting.

    One bit of news, though... Apparently, Prime is changing their same-gender-only policy, so hopefully the female logjam will be broken soon.

    Of course, I will post any further info here...

    I don't know if its part of the change but I had to fax a paper in earlier about if I had any objections to a opposite gender trainer. Which I didn't.

    It's never been a problem to pair a male trainee with a female trainer at Prime. However, because of the nature of one incident in particular, they clamped down on putting a female trainee with a male trainer. Not being in the training biz, I couldn't say if they've changed that recently.

    The logjam has been broken!!!

    The new policy (mixed-gender training) is now in effect, and Prime is now getting us into orientation just as fast as we can get the paperwork in order.

    Gracie called me this morning to have me re-sign some paperwork (was only valid for 30 days); after that was done, I'm tentatively scheduled to start in SPRIMO on 4/22! (Pending verification of my DMV record, of course... and I haven't done anything to change that.)
