Even tho the Dash on my W900 layout is just like the T660 I just got out of, I already miss 818. Honestly speaking, I thought I wouldn't say this as I couldn't really stand the early morning appointments at times but I'm already missing pulling a reefer smh.

But is all those Volvo's coming in now Auto's? Just an Automatic isn't any fun to drive, only in Traffic and I don't sit in Traffic much..

Husker everything is good so far... I downloaded transflo app but have not used it yet, I will this week.. seems alot of places i go here my t mob service is really suspect, esp NW and upper cental parts of iowa lol At home now for some R&R and hit the road tomorrow nite headed to Iowa for a tues 10am del... Ive had a couple good paying loads and some not to good paying loads, (backhauls) lol I just need more good ones than bad and ill be ok.. have kept me movin and not sittin except to get unloaded. havent had a chance to really pick where i wanna go, ive just been given loads i guess whats avail and close to where i empty at.. which means less deadhead i guess.. Im lovin my KW (829) i got really nice, got to be the best truck ive driven in a long time.. does seem like they cut the balls on them some but it still does what its meant to do.. now if i can get use to goin 65 to get this bonus and not 68 is gon be my problem my idle time is good though. When i was at the yard i seen 2 autos and 3 other manual volvos..

Most of the new Volvos are 13 speeds. There are a few that came with the I-shift 12 speed auto. Dean says they are trainer trucks?? Since when do they train anybody?? And why would they want them training on an auto shift?? Maybe He was being facetious.

Cutty...the 660s are only limited on speed...the lack of nuts is all the after treatment #### bogging the motors.....I just got out of one that only had EGR and I will say it pulled better than the one I am in now...this newer one feels as if it wants to go but can't quite get there and thats due to the after treatement crap....

the transflo app is useful...I generally use it more than the scanning stations...that way I can get the stuff scanned in right away and don't have to remember to bring the paperwork into the truckstop.....

Autos are probably the way we will end up going...they do get better fuel mileage than a stick because of the electronic shift system volvo designed...plus I would love one for the mountain driving out west..... but alas i just have a KW with a stick and 187k on the clock...so I'll be in this one for a while unless life changes...(there is a possibility that I may end up with my little ones here shortly so that means no more truck drivin for me..)

818 did me just fine.. It didn't out pull the DPF only trucks in our company (Trk #755 and under) but I could go across 78 in PA with 42K in the box and only drop one gear, IDK, each it's own I guess

I'm curious how the auto's respond/act on slick roads. When she wants to start going sideways you need to be off the power real quick.

I hear they can be a handfull on slick roads, hence the reason some companies have dropped the auto and went back to the manual. Tow charges can be expensive!
