who said they dont have insurance? are you positive beyond doubt they were not at fault for damage? cause If I gotta pay fro someone's pure negligence someone's gunna be held accountable.

Where did I say they weren't at fault? I said drivers shouldn't have to be charged for an accident even if they are at fault. That's why insurance exists. Yes, I'll admit fault when I do something wrong, but don't expect me to skip my rent payment because you don't want to put the claim on your insurance.
-
I have no idea what insurance is or does?
Funny that I have had vehicle insurance for my personal and business use for over 35 years, even have a letter from them saying since my record is so clean I can never me denied vehicle insurance for any reason if my payments are current.
You can peddle that to people which are clueless but that dog does not hunt. -
Being irresponsible should hurt, likely you have never owned anything of value that has produced income or revenue.
-
And you're a perfect driver? We all make mistakes, and expecting a driver to skip a rent payment or two because of one is beyond asinine. Let me guess...... You don't have insurance.DOTrevenuepatrol Thanks this.

Obviously you have never taken the time when I shared my early years, plenty mistakes and far from perfect. I was taught trucking on coal trucks, one mistake and you could be dead in a instant. We are not talking being Mr. or Mrs. Perfect here, my point is if you screw up do not go pointing fingers at others and be mature enough to accept responsibility for your own actions and mistakes.
Where did rent ever come into your mindset is beyond reasoning, or that I do not have insurance. -
no one said we were perfect,we just take responsibility. why should a company pay for negligence ? an accident is one thing, but damage done by a negligent driver should be driver responsibility.
-
And where did you come up with the idea that I said drivers aren't admitting fault? When you take a drivers pay due to an accident, you're forcing them to skip a rent, car, phone, whatever payment. I understand that drivers need to admit responsibility, but would you be willing to put them on the streets because of it? Why am I saying you don't have insurance? Because you want the driver to pay for an accident. There's no sense behind that when you have the insurance to cover wreckage and load losses.DOTrevenuepatrol Thanks this.

I agree that it can make for some bad politics but it happens. Some people call it "favoritism" but the reality is that someone who has a history of being a general pain in the neck can have something happen to him that is in no way his fault and he will get canned for it while someone who has good standing can totally screw up and be given the benefit of the doubt.
