well that's what happened to my truck the first week of the year. 5 bad injectors....and then spewed oil all over the place! Been fixed for the past 2-3 months now!

 

Why beat around the bush? I have LOTS of "black friends"...although I only call them friends, and not "black friends". Also, the truth is, NOT ALL blacks have gold/silver teeth. There's alot more hispanics I've seen than blacks! And 90% of the black guys I've run into, on the road, that are our drivers, are actually really good guys, always nice and talkative to me! Guess, it's the "thugs"....and there are white thugs, black thugs....all kind of thugs. And I've only used the gold tooth thing like twice on this forum! BTW, isn't it FREEDOM OF SPEECH? Thursday afternoon in WV, on way to OH for 8am delivery, just got a pp to pick up another load 5 miles from delivery to bring back to Greensboro. They canceled it 10 minutes after they sent it. Deliver the next morning, got another pp to deadhead 130 miles to pick up a load going to someplace near Philadelphia. I had told them on Monday I wanted to be home saturday afternoon or early sunday morning. I called dm, he said they gave me that because I said I wanted to work thru sunday, what?? Told him I didn't want to get caught up in that area this late in the week. They cancel that one, waited about 45 minutes and got one to deadhead 220 miles and pick up one that delivered 269 miles to Elloree, SC on Monday, what?? Called dm again to understand their game plan. I live in Columbia, SC, 40 miles from delivery. Asked if this was my going home load, he asked what I wanted to do, I said it didn't make any sense to take anything else from there that close to home and with 18 hours left on my 70. I would take my reset and leave 0400/0430 on Monday. He sends a pp to pick up basically anytime monday morning and delivered 250 miles to the atlanta, ga area TUESDAY at 1100, firm appt. What?? Called him back, he says, well, you wanted to leave early monday...what?? I asked if I could get something that would work better than that with more miles. I have 1600 for the WEEK after delivering in elloree. He canceled the 250 mile atlanta pp and gave me one that picks up in Orangeburg, SC monday at 1000 and delivers to gainsville, fl, 316 miles, anytime tuesday. Needless to say, I gave up and kept that one. Apparently, the planner couldn't do simple math and listened with one ear last friday. lol Oh well, I got home friday night and will leave after sunrise on monday. Got to ride my Hawg yesterday. Wish I could find a way for someone to pay me to ride it everyday...

 

You gonna be at ACO in orangeburg Monday pops? That's where il be doing the hurry up and wait for a live unload. They get in no hurry there

 

just wondering POPS...have you switched with someone, or have they called and asked if you could switch with someone, in the middle of the run? I was on my way to Miami this week and Tina called and asked if I could switch with someone to get home. I did, since I do have my "########" days, LIKE US ALL! lol and so far, it seems like they repayed me with alittle more miles. Looks like I gotta run from Rural Hall to Lakeland, FL for tuesday delivery. I'm just praying that it IS the "sunshine state" instead of the "rainshine state" this time! lol Hopefully NO 50-60 year old chicks tell me to honk the airhorn for them to flash me! That was GROSS! lol

 

No I'm going to mars pet care in oburg. Most of those type places I usually wind up waiting awhile to get loaded. We shall see...

 

Never had a switch enroute. Picked one up from a guy at a scale house once, he had a breakdown on the scale house ramp. I think it's supposed to be nice and warm down there this week. Btw I saw 5 inches of snow in WV and VA last Friday. It was crazy! I don't turn down any chances to see the 'female flashers'. Fat ones, skinny ones, old flat ones, rolled up ones, saggy ones, black ones, white ones, chocolate ones, pink ones, bucket sized ones. It don't matter. Lol.
