I have the worst time under heavy load (30,000 +) and going into downshift. For some freaking reason, I'm grinding to find!

I feel better hearing from drivers with years of experience speaking of grinding. Now I don't feel so much like failtrucker anymore on those days that it seems the transmission wants to pick a fight.

some days Ill go the entire day shifting as smooth as butter. Some days I sound like I've never been in a truck before and what is this third pedal and stick coming out of the floor for?! I personally blame it on the truck being cranky. I cant blame it on the load, I could be on the same load back to back days with completely different shifting results.

4/9th is really picky in the truck I'm driving right now so if I'm not exact on the speed/rpm she'll grind. Seems I grind at least once per day in that gear. It will sometimes grind on me getting in gear at a stop since the clutch brake is out of adjustment or worn out. Both issues were like that when I got the truck and both were never fixed....
