You get paid for drop & hook only when trailers with freight are exchanged. That's what the recruiter told me. Because I called her back to find out more information on why her add said $65-75 for your first year when the mileage pay is so low? She said u got a .01cpm safety quarterly bonus and $15 for drop & hook every time trailers with freight where exchanged. That u do not get drop pay for picking up an empty trailer. She also said to me that their drivers are averaging $60-65k. I still don't see. That's why I didn't even apply.

You get your pay from unloading time cause you got to assist unload slide it off the tail of trailer very easy. Most Ashley furniture is light too. You have a 2 wheeler to move it to the back. Any job where you have to unload pays well. If I leave my Cush LTL job I'd go there first hears from a buddy they clear 60-80k. I've unloaded these guys before I was a driver. My LTL job I make an extra 150-200 on top of my mileage every two weeks cause of fuel, wait time, hooking sets. So don't look at the mileage so much cause they seem like a company that compensates. Good companies usually pay you for everything.

Well I will weigh in here, was just hired on with Ashley, I am waiting for some one to wake me up from the dream, this Co. is GREAT!, They have done what they said they were going to do, the EQ is some of the best, and set-up like you would not believe, and they have been some of the nicest people to work with. I can see why they have drivers there for 20-30 yrs. I am so glad I made this move. There turn over rate is very, very low, I see why!:occasion5:

Yes. Only 6 weeks per year, between March and October.

That is what they told one of my freinds a couple months ago, he went with another company so his wife could ride anytime she wanted.
