how do you know when your not a truck driver

Five and a half years is 66 months divided by 20 jobs is a new job every 3.3 months. Good luck on your search for the perfect driving job.

 

That's way to many jobs. Honestly, I'd hang up the keys for good after the 3rd job in 5 years. I'm quite surprised that anyone would take the chance and hire him with a backround like that. Most of us have 2-4 jobs in a whole career, but 20 or more within 5 years? That's ridiculous.

 

drivers dont always change jobs just to be changing jobs.....lied to, not paid, asked to run illegal, equipment not maintained, lied to about home time etc etc etc.......

 

just because you have changed jobs doesnt mean you arent a good , safe driver.....

 

funny you should say that...i have...and left again for the same reasons...LOL, if it didnt work the 1st time, dont know what made me think it would work a second.....

 

You are correct in stating that doesn't mean you aren't a safe driver. But the good driver part is questionable. You're going to be lied to no matter where you work. That's not secluded to trucking. Also, you're never going to make decent money if you can't stay at one place longer than 3 months.

 

so you are saying because i have changed jobs i am not a good driver?? i have NO ACCIDENTS, 1 minor speeding ticket, no claims, clean psp report, can pass a federal background check and have, used to haul pharms for CDC ,no felonies and can pass a drug test any day of the week...take care of my equipment, run legal, on time , clean inspections...but i am not a good driver.....well educate me then...please.....

 

You'll never find stability until you learn to commit. You have to work so find one job and marry it. With longevity comes many better things. It sounds like you quit way too easily and can't get over the hump. Nobody is going to treat you like a one year employee in three months. That goes with any job.
