Roehl Phase 3, life after RDTC

Spent 8 hours waiting for a slot in Appleton to replace the APU alternator. There were only 13 trucks ahead of me at noon yesterday. Weekend mech crew had hands full.

 

I've been close to 600 miles but not over yet. Nice.
TA outside Cincinnati with live unload at 8am about 30 miles away then home for 3 days.
5500 miles last 12 days so 450/day average. Had just over 10,000 during the first month with my own truck so happy with that. Not so pleased with the 6.3mpg the '07 Volvo is doing...but it'll do 64mph all day with my foot on the floor so I can live with it.

 

Defiantly understandable I'm just so curious about Roehl ill be 21 soon and I plan on going there or ho wolding maybe but I already have my cdl along with tanker and hazmat just no otr the road exp I drive a end dump at times and but mostly a quad axel dump we pull all our equipment some if its oversized but I no how to pull a trailer and drive we work like 80 to 100 hours in the summer not uncommon to drive for 16 hours at a time so hopefully otr maybe a little easier lol. Like we aren't required to fill out logs or anything so that's how we can run so long but ill most likely have to go to Roehl school I also read ur thread on that seems like a good place.

How many days did you guys average with your trainer? How long did phase 3 last for you?

Phase III was 12 days for me. Usually is 10 days but we needed my hours to make a run from WI to NY & back on Fri-Sun.

 

9-13 days, 10 average.

 

What was I thinking? II was 12 days. III has been just over a month so far...not sure when it ends, no hard date as far as I know. They told me it would end soon last week. But since I have a great FM I don't really care. Miles have been good with 3100 last week.
