We're talking about a wannabe . How many wannabes have common sense ? Their threads here and ultimate disappearance indicates not many do .

True, not many actually take advice from ppl that give excellent advice or don't wanna take the time. You all give excellent advice on many threads.

Don't know where you could buy a DVD of a pre-trip but there are a few threads on here that covers them if you can read. Most of the older drivers will give you some good advice if you will take heed. RickG is always handing out good advice to Nooobies and Wannabes and drivers who are needing any advice.. I never considered myself a wannabe truck driver. When I came back to this Industry I came as a Gonnabe truckdriver. This site was very helpful to me in making some descions I had to make. I say review the youtube videos and download the ones that work for you. As someone just looking to get into trucking you may want to save as much as you can. Just my honest opinion.

If the YouTube videos are not detailed enough .... I guess I got lucky along with the entire class ....
Your making something simple... difficult. If that's the way you work... trucking is probably not for you.. Good Luck! -
You shouldnt need a class. The book at the MoDot inspection will tell you everything you need. If your mechanical at all you can pass it with a breeze. Being a owner, i like to know the guys i hire can change a hose or a airfilter or even change oil. The rest is a bonus. Nothing pisses me off more than someone who doesnt check tires. OTR they are expensive as hell.
48Packard Thanks this. -
