A seat upgrade?

    Hey guys ive been here in Springfield since wednesday for upgrade. And finally have been upgraded to an A seat Friday but have not been assigned truck yet and have no idea when this will happen. My question is, will i get payed for the days im waiting here for a truck? And i mean this any day after friday wich was the day i upgraded to an A seat. Thanks in advance.

    I imagine you get detention which is like $50.00 a day.

    Yes. I'm here in the same situation. We get paid, but it's not much. Be sure you go up to the FM area at HQ and get some meal tickets so you don't end up paying (so much) out of pocket.

    Um... never volunteer to rescue an abandoned truck? For those who are waiting on a truck, go talk to the folks in leasing. You may be able to take out a truck that has a few months left on it instead of more waiting, and get a new one later on. That's what I did on my first truck. The problem with new trucks right now is that the manufacturers are having to ramp up production after ratcheting it down during the economic downturn, plus there is quite a bit of uncertainty going around as how fast to turn the production rate up. At this point, all the carriers are lining up for new trucks because their fleets are starting to wear out.
