Hi I own a 2004 peterbilt 385 with a C-13 cat super 10 speed 3.75 rears. It is a single axle factory made truck. I pull a large 38 foot gooseneck cattle trailer with it. I also pull a 45 foot drop deck to haul hay with it also. I love the truck and I can fit in places where most rear tandems can not fit in at all I go in alot of tight corners goin to farms. I will put a pusher axle on it in the future. I've looked and looked can not find the info I'm looking for and that why I started this post.
My cat get 7mpg on average pulls great can't remember the last time I had to down shift on them big hills GVW 60,000
    Pryo:max is 800 degrees
    Boost: max 40 psi
    Run 80mph at 1700 rpm
I have the twin turbo set up
Can not find a Pittsburg power for a C-13
Want to know other opinion/experiment on bully dog pup
Is there a egr delete kit?
I'm sure it's straight pipe it's freaking loud and I can hear every piston fire at a slow idle.
Both Fuel filter is changed every oil change 12-15,000 miles
Air filter stays clean clean clean
    I'm a ### on serviceing the truck

Thank you for your time and advice or etc. please feel to ask any questions

What is the device between turbo 1&2. Made out of stainless steel and have a coolant hose to it?

The device you are talking about is a intercooler between both turbos. The air blows through the intercooler to help cool it down before it enters the second turbo. I also have a c13. Your serial number probably starts with KCB for that year.

it does start with a KCB. But I think it's a great motor n I know if I do the right think I should get 10mpg. But can't figure it out

I don't know what muffler you have on it. But it probably wouldn't hurt to put new on with low restriction. The factory put catalitic converts on them. They look like regular muffler but the insides are very restrictive. This got me about .2 MPG. The fuel temp wire people talk about didn't help my fuel mileage but it made the motor more responsive. The boost sensor wire people talk about all it does is blow black smoke doesn't help fuel mileage as a matter of fact it seemed to hurt mine a little. The best thing I have done for fuel mileage is put a bully dog tuner on it. It has raised my mileage up about .4 to 1 Mpg depending on what and where I am hauling. I have mine in a dumptruck. I can tell you when running empty I don't use hardly any boost and very light pressure on accelerator.

    Fickster Thanks this.

It a straight pipe from what I was told from previous owner just ran a pipe throu the factory muffler but whe. The muffler goes bad it won't have a muffler just a pipe and 90 degree elbow to blow down. I doubt I'll put stacks on it. Not really wanting to risk programming the motor but thought about the watch dog and see what's my driving habits on the pedal tells me

If you have turbo boost gauge that is a great help with trying for fuel mileage. There is a company called scan gauge. They have one that is much cheaper than watch dog. From the ad I believe they give about the same info to you. But I can tell you form my experience with the bully dog which also shows the same info the mpg the ecm reads is not accurate at least on my truck. It is off about 12%. There is a place in the menu to put in correction factor. I also know you talked about PDI with Mr Haney. I have never talked to him or PDI. But from all the good you here from drivers on this forum must be doing a good job. One of the companies I haul for had PDI do one of their newer trucks. The owner told me that was the best spent money on that truck. He said fuel mileage went up and power went up also.
