yes it is NUTS. I already got an attorney and they are going to the date on the 19th. This is really making me mad. i thought the ticket would be at-least $500-$600 but i had to add 2 zeros at the end of that. I cant pay this simply. This is very unheard of. i didn't even know this type of ticket existed.

LOL, you should have spoken to that lady in the Monroe TA about the driver legal plan on your way up there.

With CSA every driver should sign up with OnRoad or a similar service to handle situations like yours.

If I saw a sign that said Class B road I wouldn't have a clue as to what it meant, you might mention to your attorney that any signs were uninterpertable to an out of state driver.

ya i will make sure to tell them that, i gave them a full story of what happened. Lets see what happens. I think michigan is just thirty to make money of pulling trucks of the road and giving them tickets to be honest. Nothing but a bloody thirsty state trying to get money from hard working people.

    cetanediesel Thanks this.

Good luck dealing with it, it only cost me 75 bucks for being on a road that is STAA in Rand McNally, but limited to a shorter overall and wheelbase length by the state, subject to 'local' enforcement. Absolutely no signage that I have been able to find.

IL is broke, and Will County is on the cutting edge of it where I run.

Thanks. I am wondering if the officer will come to the hearing or if they also have attorneys? I hope my attorney can win this. This is just absurd. $5000 is like a month of transportation going bye bye.
