i joined here because i miss trucking and thought id catch up on whats been going on out there on the road. i spent 20 years driving in the usa and canada and seen some beautiful country and pretty much the worst weather also. from flat bed a and b train to belly dump b train to van reefer and curtain side etc. i had good times and bad but mostly good as i got to see places i would never have afforded on my own money. was informed years ago that im no longer permitted to drive transport because i had heart attack and that bothers me but i definately dont want to harm anyone if i happen to have another.. so far with my meds and blood thinners ive lived without another heart attack for 7 years and counting. i miss being out there but also miss being home as my years of trucking took me so far away that i never really knew what the point of having a house was since i never hardly seen it. i have other health issues besides my heart so i dont think id be much good for any long haul companies out there but surely wouldnt mind a couple of trips somewhere a month or something just so i could feel worthwhile again. Anyways id like to say in closing that i wish all the truckers out there the very best and healthy lives and most importantly be safe out there ok. take care
thought id drop by
