I see Pilot paying off whoever they need and settling outside of court. They will have everything back to "normal" in no time! It's politics remember...

I don't really care for any place more than the other. They are all cash cows first and foremost. By that, when the bottom line has changed because of fines or money they are going to have to rebate back to the companies, or even by having lower fuel prices, guess where they are going to make up the difference? 20 dollar showers, 4 dollar loaves of bread, 5 dollar chili dogs, and so on. You might even start to see the out of the way places charging to park even after spending 500 on fuel.

I hate it just as much as any other hand, but face it. Poop rolls downhill, and we sure aren't looking down at a bunch of nickel and dimer's at Pilot/Flying J or with your company's brass.

Don't imagine any other truck stop headquarters being any less crooked. Just haven't gotten caught yet.

Showers are free with fuel purchase and i buy tons of fuel there. Dog are 2for$3. Prices are cheaper then t/a petro for most stuff. If that changes i will fuel at other network places more.

I cant stand pilot or Fly j, bunch of crooks and buying out all the small business mom and pop places that actually appreciate our business, last time I showered at pilot I had left over soap, tooth paste residue and dirty floor with fresh towels. Typical.

Problem is people are getting ripped off and Mr Haslam is on tape explaining how he did it. Trucking companies and owner/operators are on a tight budget in the first place, and to be ripped off by a billionaire, a billionaire who needs these small businesses to keep himself in business is wrong. Really wrong. It's about time that big corporations started paying for constantly screwing over the little guy. I hope they sue the hell out of P/FJ and win. Tired of seeing the small businessman get crapped on by deep pocket billionaire corporations. You go Atlantic Coast.

That's my point. If the Pilot-Flying J folks have to spend money because they got caught cheating companies out of rebates, then guess where they are going to make up for it? My best guess would be that they would start with your "free" showers and whatever else they can make money on. I'm just saying that the basic principles of business call for passing the costs on to you, who uses the business.
