Ive been working for this company for almost 2 years now and I have been treated like a son/brother the whole time.

We all know that 90% or even more of the companies we work with in our lifetime well...frankly they stink.

I have been so happy with these guys and have never not gotten a paycheck or been trapped without loads...

No way in heck do I ever plan on leaving this place and the regional runs arent that bad being here in the south (Florida-Virginia and in between)

I know there really is no advertising so I will let you search for the number...but if you want to find a long term future...call these people...ask any questions on here and I will tell you straight up.

Anyways, thought id express my feelings.

    Drive Safe everyone.

I would like a more in depth description of what the dump drivers do, if you know. I've been told it's 2 loads from Crystal River to Jax a day (Gypsum), but I wonder if they're able to accomplish that everyday in their 14? Does the dump fleet run electronic logs?

I actually wanted the dump position, but I went with regional for more pay. They said 2-3 loads a day and they have 4 drop off points...I know CR is one of them and another is Palatka. They said they start at 4am and get back by 6pm. I assume that is correct.

I have also heard a lot of people saying cypress is changing from the way they were in the past. I just have to get a few things straightened out before I can go to orientation. Can't wait to do it.

    hey brother

when I was in orientation it didnt fall on a holiday, but they told me plan to spend a week for orientation and how many ever weeks for training...I was out on the road M-F with my trainer and then spent the weekends at the hotel...it went by decently quick.

Hey, I figured that but was wondering about Memorial Day and July 4th. I was approved but needed to wait and straighten some things out at home. Now I waited to long and have to reapply and be reap proved. Was gonna wait till after Memorial Day before attending orientation.

Cypress is getting better as a company. When I joined this site here in 2007, that company was the one you avoided. They ran old trucks and trailers snd you would often see bad posts about them. Now its the complete opposite. They are adding new trucks and trailers and have purchased Sunbelt Transport. I have not seen anything negative about them in a couple years. They are doing a complete 180 and I would be honored to work for this company.

Exactly, Challenger...when I did work for CR England early on in my driving career...I was thinking of going to Cypress...and heard some bad things. And ever since they picked up Sunbelt and started rolling a little better I looked back into them...they have definitely turned things around.
