Id double check with your Fleet Managet. Gonna look really dumb if you got fired for listening to any of the yahoos around here. I still do it every single time.

You're delivering on Monday, so that's a duty day. Your first home day would be Tuesday, but do double check with your FM.

"Yahoo" as a general statement? I'm around here and I'm no "yahoo".
I guess this makes me the outspoken minority!CondoCruiser Thanks this. -
maybe you only think your not a yahoo and your in error
your manager will tell you what is best for company
if they have lots of freight to move 2 days becomes 34 hour reset
then when they are slow your first load is day after your HTkirk Thanks this. -
Everyone that answers is a "yahoo", so I'm not answering!
Marky84 Thanks this. -
I am not a " YAHOO " as I always use GOOGLE.

Check with your dispatcher but I think your hometime starts after you send in your unloaded call.

Now Pete, remember, we work for a reasonable commercial enterprise, unlike "Slavin' the Drivers Inc" that has you chained to the steering wheel!

4 days is 4 days or whatever number the Fleet Manager allows. The day of release doesn't count. So if delivery is Monday, IP is correct that day does not count. If he gets 4 days, then you count Tues-Friday off, back to work Sat morning at the time the Fleet manger determines.
Release day has its good and bad points. Deliver really early in the morning and you are released with almost a whole another day to enjoy. Deliver in the evening and you don't have much of the rest of that release day to enjoy.
as far as "yahoos," I'm just saying that you confirm with your FM your days off and when he expects you back before you go on hometime. If he says 1000 central, it means 1000 ready to roll. You may not go anywhere for a few hours till they find you a load, or he may have something to roll on right away.
