You obviously have your information mixed up.
We are not, nor have we ever been owned by Us Xpress. For a short time, we were business partners at which point they owned a small portion of the company. We are solely owned by Barry Smith And as for wages.....they've only gone up in the last 8 years I have been here.

Check your facts before you spew off at the mouth, I have.

Sorry for enlightening you. Smith Transport is just another company owned by them as well as Averrit, Arnold and Global Express. I can send you the propaganda they provided me, if I still have it. I was surprised to find that out as well.

Did not mean to ruffle feathers.

They used to own an interest in us Barry bought that portion back within the past year.

As for ruffled feathers, it just aggravates me that people think because they bought a small portion of the company that they own us.

If you find that propaganda let me know And I'll send an email address for you to send it

    pete1 Thanks this.

Do you have to have a dedicated parking place for the truck on the weekends? ...like a dedicated yard or trucking yard?

Thank you.....I am currently living in Florida and work OTR for UPS Freight. I moved down here 3 years ago from the Philly/NJ area. I am thinking about going back up to Philly and running the NE regional. I have run the NE for many years and do not mind it as much......do they ever let you switch.....say I was running the NE for a while and then asked to run the South (or somewhere else) for a while as a change....and then go back to the NE.....would they do something like that? I am also considering running the Bedford local and just drive to Philly for the weekends off......

Thanks for your help....I will probably have more questions later
I just may give you a call....

I Don't think it would be a problem to run NE regional And get a break Now And again. May have better results Going non regional And inform them you are willing to run mostly ne as long as you can get an occasional break And run elsewhere. I can't say for certain (above my paygrade ) but shouldn't be a problem. Discuss with recruiter if you call. Ask for Rob Miller, he's been here recruiting longer than I've been here so he should have better answer on that. If you come on board, I would appreciate being listed as the reference. Regardless I'll be glad to try And answer any additional questions.
