How much do dump truck drivers make an hour?

No Ottawa,Utica,Peru,Troy Grove,Wedron area in IL.

 

It varies quite a bit. In Georgia I started at 11.50 but, that was going on ten years ago. Here in Missouri, it ranges from about 12 to 18 from what I can tell but, a lot of companies pay percentage. I've never seen an hourly end dump gig around here, all percentage.

 

not looking to start an argument because everyone is entitled to their opinion ,but we live a good life up here being in the union.i know the union isn't for everyone.for me i'm making a lot more money along with full medical, pension, annuity and vacation fund than i did running over the road. i'm home everyday and get to enjoy weekends and weekdays after work.i don't feel like my union is screwing me because without them i would be working by the load for peanuts and working 12 plus hours a day.

every month im there , I sit all the way against the wall when you walk in , before the meetings , im outside by the doors smoking all the time , by the shirt table , we will have to meet next month......
