TMC medical requirements

    I understand that TMC has higher medical standards than most carriers. What will get you dq'ed? anyone have any idea?

    In my experience, TMC DQ'ed people (medically) consistent with how most DOT doctor would. On the other hand, they are more strict in the way you present yourself (facial hair, long hair, dress code, etc.) and will DQ you.

    If you are on any medication to control things like blood sugar, blood pressure etc, have your numbers well in control. If you have had any recent serguries, have a report that releases you to work from your doctor.
    TMC will go over your medical records to find any issues. Be honest up front. If they have to find out about any problem you knew you had, instant DQ.

    No kidding there Colorato. if you pick up the tarp wrong, you might end up with a hernia or screw up your back. Then, you're going home.
