I want job that involves sitting at or driving to/from drilling sites in a late model pickup and using a smartphone! I think I might need a degree in geology though.
LOL Help! I took a load from home out to Abilene last week and can't get back east. All the great paying loads involve drilling equipment and materials. I ran sand in supersacks from Voca to Big Lake, then 50 ft plastic pipe from Bowie to Anthony, KS, then a pair of vessels from Woodward, OK to deliver to a Midland/Odessa site.
I have to say I haven't ran these areas in a few years and it is booming now. Nothing but tankers, belly dumps, drilling equipment and maintenance vehicles tearing up these rough ### roads out here.

Does anyone know about how much drivers at Sunoco Logistics make per year, they left me a message wanting me to call them
-
It's 100% commission. There are drivers making less than 40k and there are drivers making much more

Trican well services: have yards in springtown, TX and Longview, Tx. And start you out at 17$ an hour if you have Hazmat.
Bayou well services, weatherford, baker Hughes, basic, go Frac, are just some examples of good companies for Frac. All pay more than Halliburton.
Key energy is hiring in west Tx for coiled tubing hands and pay for you to get an apartment out there. -
I'm a crude oil hauler out of san antonio and make $23hr plus time and a half after 40hrs 34.50 I work 65 to 80 hrs a week whatever I choose. My average check is 2300 weekly but the taxes rape me if anyone needs to know the companies to work for I will tell you I know about 7 companies that will pay 75k to 120k as a company driver. I've been here hauling crude for a year a previously hauled gas and diesel . This is by far the easiest job I've had just long hours 12-15 hrs a day depending on loads and companies
HeWhoMustNotBeNamed, skeeterbud, Chibob and 1 other person Thank this. -

Out here some companies pay hourly others pay by the load big star you can make good money but they have a high turnover rate . Trimac also pays well they have a yard in dilley tax so does big star. A lot of these companies no longer offer housing because of all the potential employees willing to move into san antonio rent housing and commute to work. Some have man camps . For all non crude haulers Weatherford and Baker Hughes have opened up headquarters in elmendorf Texas xt 130 to xt125 off of i37 . Your best bet to get a job is to apply then call the companies make it known you are ready to get up and come down when a drug test physical and orientation as needed. Be prepared to start!
Chibob Thanks this. -
