If you can't run legally on paper, you don't need to be driving a CMV. If you run legally on paper, a elog won't make a difference.

It's not how long you've driven but how you drive. The faster you want to go the slower it gets. Nothing says Rookie like driving to fast and disrespect to others.

Well said. And it is worse when the other driver passes you while using the lane you are in to do it! But aside from just being frustrating, I get scared that there will be an accident. Have any of you looked back and watched the behavior of the fourwheelers who are behind two trucks that are blocking both lanes with a turtle race? They begin to look like an angry swarm of bees. And if the race continues for a long period of time, the four wheelers begin doing things that could cause a SERIOUS accident to happen.

Not all 62 MPH trucks are created equal. Neither are loads. My truck is set at 62. When it's empty I can maintain that speed up most hills, loaded w/ cruise control, it seems to slow down every time I hit a slight incline. So my opinion is that if you catch up to me, you should pass. If that means i need togo 57 or heck even down to 50 to let you move on by, I'll do it. It's not about who's truck is faster, it's about keeping a steady speed. by the time i let off the gas a little bit, most trucks are around me and well on their way. it only takes acouple of seconds.

    okiedokie Thanks this.
