you bet i will.

Yeah because according to the professional driver's seating area talk, Tennessee gives you the death penalty for overdue 41' kingpin violations.
crb Thanks this. -
I think I slept through that part of class in driving school.......I was a tanker yanker, so I didn't have to deal with sliding the tandems, and then I pulled hopper bottoms, so I didn't mess with the sliding tandems......and only on occasion a 5th wheel slide. What is the deal on 41" feet from kingpin to center of rear tandems? What is the purpose of that rule?
-
virginia is another state that you have to make sure your tandems are not to far back
-
My guess it has to do with the narrow winding secondary roads you'll find in Virginia and Tennessee, especially in the Smoky and Blue Ridge mountain areas.
-
just got this ticket in FL .. scaled load to be leagle 12k/34k/34k. and was too long. been driveing for 12 years though the only state i had to worrie about being to long in was CA
-
In Florida sometimes they enforce it sometimes they don't, depends on the mood of the dot man I guess..
-
And btw you're allowed 44k on tandems in florida...
-
ya i just marked the hole i was leagle 12/34/34 and moved it full forward.. wil move back to that hole at the rest area in AL
