    Wrong. Wrong, wrong, wrong.

    There are some notorious places for mis-labeled bridges. Until the official report comes out, I won't be placing blame on the driver. They will measure his load, and they will measure the bridge, and if the bridge is mis-marked because some lazy DOT office jockeys couldn't handle getting a bridge re-measured and re-labeled following construction, than its not on the neck of the driver.

    That's what the low-hole is for.

    I looked over the news article. That bridge is the West Dallas bridge over I 45 in Houston. It's right smack in the middle of the city. If he had a permit, they would have sent him around the 610 (unless he was delivering that piece somewheres downtown). Nobody gets routed through 45.

    first thing I noticed too, good indicator of how much pride a driver takes is if his signs are placed nicely.
