I personally wouldnt have a problem with the truck radomly starting up as long as i have what I need. I would however have a problem with no ac, heat, or the ability to run my accessories and run my parking lights while taking my 10

By the way The OSU....."Hail! to the victors valiant Hail! to the conqu'ring heroes Hail! Hail! to Michigan, The champions of the West!" I thought GoBlue might like as well....

Yeah, about 3 times a night is what I recall also; it was the first part of March when I was out with a trainer and we had the bunk heater going during the night. I could probably get used to whatever's beeping though. The truck did have the Bendix proximity warning unit so that could have been what was beeping; I had assumed it was the low pressure beeper since the same beeping occurred when I tested it each morning during pretrip. But there are a lot of things that go beep it seems. :)

Yep. It beeps I think 3 times. So those out there wondering, no it doesn't beep the whole time, just like a warning beep.

When your Freightliner beeps at you that's a bad thing, prostar beeps its just sayin "hey I got this go back to sleep," and that's what I do lol

    Bayle Thanks this.

As luck would have it, I was issued a 2012 Prostar a few days ago. It has an EPU and the auto-start feature, and I figured out what's beeping when the engine auto-starts. It's the oil pressure warning beeper (beeps 5 times when initializing), same as when manually starting the engine.

Well it's time for me to put an end to phase three. just home, launched april 23 and cruised back in may 12.... 21 days out, not reset.

If I had more time I would put in a report of my actual miles run...in general it was a lot, they keep that truck rolling. My Phase 3 FM was awesome. After the first few days most of the communication was done via qualcomm freeform. I don't have handsfree phone and really don't want it. I've met some other drivers too who don't stick that thing on their ear. if i need to communicate I just find a place to stop or wait. even hands free I would still find it to be a small distraction.

My trips were all good, I learned a lot. Had a few minor issues with equipment and learned how to manage that stuff. Towards the end I had things down to a better system and figured out how not to miss turns and how to check out unfamiliar places in advance. Backing and close quarters are tons better now, more confidence and the setups are beginning to be more automatic. Even like pull throughs, I go slow but soon realized that I set it up perfect and there is no need to adjust.

I'm not getting rich at Roehl but am making a good income. My health benefits will kick in June 1st which is a nice thing. A huge thing for me is respect and I have to say that I have received that at Roehl. I have to say the people that I have worked with have always treated me well, even if I did the wrong thing, just a correction...not a beat down. I have not seen a lot of politics in action, maybe since I'm a driver, and I really like that. As long as I move the freight safely, timely and keep them posted as to my actions I'm pretty much left alone to do what I want and I really like that too.

Roehl is a good place..., good people, good training, good ideas.... put in your days work, accomplish something, and get paid.

As for our RDTC Class I know 4 out of the 6 are now out of phase three and out solo. Roehl is set up for new drivers to succeed, I can say that from a position of personal experience.

Nice.. I hope my situation plays out exactly like yours did. I'm also loving Roehl right now.. Did you request to stay out 21 days or does that happen during phase 3?
