thoughts about owner operators.....

I am a thrid generation owner op. After reading one Micheal Rose's article about how all owner operators are dangerous and outlaws, I have to ask the question. What is the owner operator considerd then if he chooses to go drive a company truck. for reasons such as....retireing as owner operator, bad financal situation, lost interest in owner operating,etc...

Does that now make him a saint and excellent driver? or should he still be considerd a degenerate lowlife outcast of society? I know of several guys that have giving up owner operatoring to pursue a company spot. I also know of many company guys that are exellent drivers and would never desire to be an owner op. just because they dont want the headach. totally understandable. What i couldnt figuer out is, he hated owner operators and seemed very ignorant and closed minded about us,also he seemed to retained an IQ level campairable to a monkey, yet thought he could tell just by looking at the truck and the driver behavior that they HAD to be owner operators causing a disturbance?

Did he ever stop to think maybe the guys he seen were merley company drivers driving for owner ops? or possibly company trucks that didnt have a uniform typical look like swift,jb,werner? this is my opinion, but my personal opinion is that Micheal Rose needs to do a swan dive into a wood chipper.

Also, after reading further on the other thread, I do believe that boy wander is micheal rose's son or maybe his "life partner". thats just my thoughts and opinions. I hope everyone has a good day today and a better one tomarrow......
