Not even sure you could get commercial insurance on the dually with you as principal driver...or cargo insurance. In this business, everything revolves around the insurance companies. That's where your first telephone call should be made. Without insurance, nothing else matters.

Beware, if you are hauling hay from aanywhere in east tx 34 counties, there is a fire ant infestation quarinteen on hay that sits on the ground!!!! It is a state and federal law that prohibits moving hay without first having it inspected!! Big fine and hay will be burned! Fire ants have wiped out all ground nesting game birds and will eat your ### too so think first,.

Hey there guys, finally getting time to put this all into action. I took your advice and am going to start with small moves within about 800KM from home.

I'm not after extremely large money to start off, I'd like to start by networking and getting to know everything before getting greedy. Going to start with household moves, small vehicles like motorcycles, small farm equipment and work machinery and other small moves.

Curious what your guys opinions are regarding cargo insurance?

Just to expand on my question, I have been researching cargo insurance and it seems like it all pertains to transports and ocean freight. What sort of insurance should I be looking at for cargo?

Well you're going to "TRANSPORT" on land aren't you? So don't worry about OCEAN FREIGHT.

Expand further by calling a commercial transport broker.
