Hypothetically, a web site advertises complaints about a company, i.e.,says that the company says one thing but does another thing as far as leases go, drivers don't get paid for weeks, company is under investigation, etc., etc. But checked Better Business Bureau and company has nothing against it. Everything else seems ok and it appears to be our fit. Company been in business for decades and still there. Doesn't that say something for the company? I'm not fishing. I am sincere.

I do not care what company you go to there will be and always will be those who complain and whine, it today's people mentality. If a Company been in Business for a long time and they have driver who been with them a long time they must be doing something right.. Yes I seen one person say Company A a good company and the next guy say Company A sux. But as I said there will be complainers. It all depends how you go into and handle your problems. There will be problems and no way to avoid that. There will be days you sit, days you run your rear end off and days the truck will get tired and say I had enough and leave you sitting on the side of the road. We can sit here and tell you that Werner is not the place you want to go to and it could be your best for you. Do look through and see who had the better training program, Werner does have to many rookies as Trainers, Swift also along with a few more. -
Thank you, Coastie. Willl do.

To me anyway, for the most part, you get out of a job what you put into it.
Go in with a bad attitude, go in looking for the shortcomings, go in expecting troubles, and I'm sure you will find your share.
But go in with an open mind, knowing there will be good days and bad, that some loads will be better than others, that every day will not be perfect, and you probably can make a career at about any carrier.
There are always going to be the bottom feeders like Werner, England, and the likes. Stay away from the obvious trouble spots like them. Read the Good Trucking forum, and balance what you read with the Bad Trucking forum post's. Then you can at least make an informed decision.
Whatever you decide, good luck, and be safe out there! -
Most of the complaints are self inflicted. I have actually only seen a select few that had some legitimate grounds. As long as you stay away from lease-to-own programs and have a good work ethic, you shouldn't have any major problems no matter where you decide to go.

Two people can work for the same company, and have totally different experiences.
I've been on both ends.
Some people are satisfied with less, or expect less.
If you need to pay bills, get some money in the bank, any company that doesn't openly screw you will be ok, short term.
Get some RECENT experience, then look around. -

I'm mainly posting so I can follow. This thread. Try Millis Transfer. I start with them in three weeks and I've heard almost nothing negative about them. Not sure if they run teams though. Call their recruter.
