Every company has its downsides. I feel my company should at least have a Oklahoma Pike Pass account since they route us on 44 so much and I wish we weren't restricted to only fueling at Love's unless approved by dispatch.

The complaints you read are legit.Companies like Werner,CRENGLAND and Swift have the most complaints. Some do have success with these companies but the majority does not. When you read a certain company with more bad then good,I would suggest not going to that company.Chances are they're not going to be any better.Schneider,Central Refriderated, have the least complaints. You and your wife will be teaming so you probably will make enough money to pay the bills.Oh crst is another one with alot of complaints.Alot of the complaints you read about a certain company are pretty much the same complaint is it not?Surely they all cant be wrong.

    Jimandcarolyn:
Realize something about those who come here and complain and it is that those who are in a carrier sponsored school and write negative things are those who are not cutting it, generally, so because they are failing, it is everyone else's fault. It's the dorms fault they are flunking out or the less than fancy bells an whistles truck, etc.

Also realize that teams make the most money, that a lot of companies won't hire without significant experience and you need to get reacquainted with the road.

Get your experience than see where your at

Look into expediting . Panther and others will put you both right to work in a straight truck at full pay . No nonsense going with a trainer for 4 to 6 weeks at low pay . You choose your loads . There is good opportunity for advancement . You could buy trucks and become fleet owners . http://www.successfulexpediters.com/madsen/
