Let's give credit where credit is due:
Is the truck still "Shiny side up"?
Did anything fall off?
Even though the load shifted, the straps kept the load on the truck. Mission accomplished.

Load shift. Most likely caused by improper blocking of the load. my guess is he top 2 joints rolled out during a turn
-
You've never noticed that the winch side of the strap is almost always tighter then the side attached to the rub rail?
-
Staggered winches is an advantage if the load does not allow the strap to slide and even out. Corner protectors can help with this but you can't use them on every load.

I think there is more to the story
-
There usually is.

that's the error I see. I never hauled a lot of pipe but pulling from both sides was always the way I loaded. -
Mechanical malfunction? Busted Air bag (s)
Load appears to be properly secured.
Ive gotten tippy a few times but experience helps with getting back under it. -
Ok, how would this be fixed?
-
Should have gut wrapped it on each end too. That's just a small easily controlled load.
