Is Con-Way a good company to work for?I will be starting soon hauling doubles.Its local work and i will be off on the weekends.Anybody work for them please give me some info on this company.I would like to hear the good bad and ugly.

every company has there good and bad. for this company it had its good and bad times.

You'll hear and have plenty of complaints over time bit it's a very good job. I've worked here for almost 10 years now and won't leave unless I retire or get fired for something.

I was just wondering, does a new driver with con-way freight work the dock most of the time and just drive as needed or does he work the dock some where ever he drops and hooks. Any info would be helpful.

Yep, depending on where you go, you will be real acquainted with a toyota forklift.. I doubt you could get into any con-way terminal and not work the dock.
If you do linehaul, you will work the dock at the hub you run to. There is no escaping dockwork..Most times I dont mind it. -
