Again, some places, that is the only route in and out. Also look for that real small print that saids "except local deliveries.

It looked like the Sheriff's Office was handing out 50% plea deals at court today. I know it is not exactly what you were looking for but it is better than the typical plea deals that they offer.

I am a police officer that occasionally has business in that court.

I'm not sure if that is the exact plea that you received but I know that they were being more lenient than usual.

RM is troublesome. For instance, over the past few years, I've noticed several states suddenly add a lot of roads to their network (CT and NY, most notably). Yet, I am not confident if those roads are really STAA routes, or not.

PA has many STAA routes highlighted, but many have restrictions. A few (US30, etc) are not highlighted when appropriate. However, many gray state routes are highlighted and shouldn't be. yet, there's still many state routes that are perfectly good truck routes for 73'x8.5'x13.5'

If you ever wanted to check a road in PA, here's your link:

Just determine what class your truck will be, and then find if your route # is listed, and then determine if that particular section is what you'll be driving on (they usually reference county names). This also helps with the PA 10 Ton Weight Limit, that is usually unenforced, but is picking up thanks to the drilling/fracking going on in the western part of the state now.

Okay, only got offered a 30% discount from the rate. This is absurd. Because of this i have to build myself up again from the bottom. I dont understand how you can give a $5000 ticket, for being on a class B road that had no sign.

The company I worked for, one of the drivers got an $18,000.00 ticket for crossing a low weight limit bridge in PA. He was trying to get around a traffic backup on the interstate. He's a company driver, but still had to pay the ticket. PA gives out tickets much higher than that also.
