Leaving for CR England in Richmond, IN. in 2 days....never driven a stick shift

Stevens,Swift,Prime all have their own schools the same as CR, I like others agree you should stay away from them and CRST

 

Wow r u single cause I need a team driver.

 

Prime Is My Recommendation Plus Pay more.

 

I knew someone would be needing a team driver

 

Just don't buy a truck from the same company that controls your income.

 

CR is a poor choice and any one of the other options mentioned above would me much better Prime ect; however wherever you go just relax and have a open mind about learning something new and enjoy it, your gonna have a blast!

 

When you're new to this industry you have to start somewhere somehow and you don't have much choices who will hire you, my advice is get one full year of experience and then your doors will open up, you'll be able to work local or otr for a different company who will respect you and make money. I also agree CR is one of the worst just pick up a trucking paper.... But like I said you have to gain that experience somehow...

I would not worry, at first you will be behind other students who have shifting experience but you learn. Getting your timing down between your feet and hands will be your biggest challenge. I have seen other students male and female get-er-done. your biggest critic will be yourself.

 

The problem with England is ...you will NOT drive a company truck no matter what they tell you...they prey on people whom are desperate to start making $$$ so they tell you that the only way you will do that is fleece a truck.

 

Agreed!!!! And CR is the KING of Fleece!
