Trust me, when you get out on the road with a trainer and you see how "So called professional drivers operate their equipment" your confidence level will go up considerably! Trust me you will be fine.leannweaver32 and pattyj Thank this. -

Wait....Are you trying to tell us Prime isn't a bottom feeder?

My truck, trailer and APU payment totaled is less that Prime charges per week just for using their tractor. But thanks. I can always use a good laugh! -

Chinatown, slim shady, The Challenger and 2 others Thank this. -
From the information on this forum, Central Refrigerated or Prime Inc. are the best options for trucking company training. Prime pays $600.00 per week while riding with a trainer. Neither company pushes a lease program. Don't even consider a lease program until you've been driving a couple of years.
Since you live in TN, also check with these 2 TN based companies that have their own CDL schools.
R.E. West and Milan Expressleannweaver32 and The Challenger Thank this. -
do NOT go to CRE. especially burns harbor. go to prime, roehl, millis. anyone but CRE. and swift.
The Challenger Thanks this. -
Since you made the decision to go with England, then go but stick it out for 1 solid year at the least. Dont be like some of the Bunny Hoppers that have been with 5 companies in 1 year. That is a first class joke of a trucking Resume. Make sure you drive 1 full winters worth. Driving on high and dry roads is no great acomplishment. If you make it thru a full nasty winter, its all downhill for you.leannweaver32 Thanks this.
