I am having a hard time finding any good trucking companies here in Southern California, a lot of them seem to be toward the East Coast.
I was pretty excited when I found FFE trucking, but I have heard too many horrible reviews on them (and that they have now put cameras in their trucks).
I am looking for companies that hire new grads and that have regional runs.
I am located on the Los Angeles/Orange County border to be specific.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Good companies in California?

I think your best bet would be Swift, Schneider, or Interstate Distribution.

I had an interview with KKW Trucking in Pomona on Tuesday, now just waiting for them to get back to me. They seem to be pretty good, they run western regional only. They used to require two years of experience but now they have a training program. If you apply online during the week expect a call back that day, they called me no more than 5 minutes after I applied. When I was there they said that they are waiting on my background check to come in then they'll call me to come in for orientation then 2-3 weeks with a trainer. You should take a loot at their website http://www.kkwtrucks.com/ then go to the bottom of the page where it says opportunities. Hope this helps.

Kkw is a good gig, my dad drove out of there for almost ten years as a o/o. I applied there myself but at that point they still required two years experience

I would go with kkw.

Oh, I'm from SOCAL myself and I thought Schneider was my only choice in terms to regional for new hires.
But I'm guessing they don't reimburse tuition like Schneider? Not much info on pay either.Chinatown Thanks this. -
Check out robertsons ready mix. Home daily and they take newbies. They have a yard in anaehim and paramount
-
Robertson's requires you be at least 25 years old, might not be a problem for the OP but I'm still a year shy

Mountain valley express in paramount is hiring dock workers right now. Theyre a LTL company, you can move up to a line haul driver in a few months.
