Hey I'm looking for a connex 4600 turbo and need a place online to purchase one with the tune already done. I already have this radio in one of my tractors and I need another for a different tractor. Great radio perfect for what I use it for. Am only no side band. I bought my first one 4 yrs ago in Sc but I can't find the guy online. So I don't know if he's out of business or doesn't use the web or whatever. Do people still use sparkys cb shop or is there someone better for a conservative but effective tune.

    Thanks,

WalcottCB is a great place too. Just picked up a radio from there after having some work done on it. A few years ago I bought a Galaxy 939 there and had them peak and tune it before shipping to me and I always get complements on it. Good guys over there.

Probably going with bells cb tonight to purchase a connex 4600 turbo and a Ranger 69ffB4. It's a lot of money so if anyone has input on either radio and/or the place please let me know ASAP.

    Thanks,

No input on the radio. Last radio I ordered came from bells though. Great guy to deal with. I actually called and talked to him to get direction on what radio to buy.

Bells is a stand up place, as said you can speak directly to him and he will video the work done to your radio, from opening the box to power output.

Ok great thanks for the feedback. It's just tough cause when you shop online there is not much to go by so it's good to here that there is actual cb guys running it not just some scammer. I will throw a post up here when I receive both radios. I'm getting ready to spend like 1,200$ in radio gear so thanks to all.

Avoid Sparky's like the plague. Went to the dark side some time back. Bunch of crooks. Ordered radio. 3 weeks later no radio. Tried to call. LOL!! Sent message online . Debit card billed for 2nd radio that was never delivered. Got PayPal involved and money was back in account in few days. Bells, Clays, few others will do you right.

I believe Sparky went out of business due to health issues. I know he had a heart attack sometime in the past and I believe after that, someone else proceeded to let the business get driven into the ground.
